we are on the road right now and we just left our ohio campground. while we were there, we went fishing in a river and I caught a 24in. steelhead which weighed about 10 pounds!!! I was so happy. the story is we were at the river and I was practicing with my fly rod when I saw it: the steelhead. so I tried to get it to bite but it wouldn’t take the white lure. so I hooked the fish in the tailfin! I was fighting it and my line snapped. so I tried fishing elsewhere and on our way back the steelhead was still there so I tried again. I lost another lure to the '”famous white tail” and I finally hooked him in the top fin!!! I fought him until we finally brought him in and got our lures back. so the steelhead is called the famous white tail because of the white lure that was on the fish’s tail.
this is when we were leaving the stream, I fell in the river and got soaked.
