Melissa’s Time in Ohio

In Ohio I saw some family that I had not seen since I was 5 years old. I had remembered just little glimpses of that reunion. I was on my Dad’s side of the family. His Aunt, Uncle, Cousin and her Husband and two kids. I loved getting to know all of them. It was so much fun hearing family stories and sharing our own.  The days we were there we were visiting doing a picnic kind of thing. But one of the days we drove into Amish country. we visited a Amish cheese store, craft store, and literally zoomed into a chocolate store! At a point we also stopped into a restaurant to have some Amish homemade pie. Yum! but it wasn’t as good as my Great Aunt Jeanie and Cousin Amy homemade cherry pie. Hand picked and pitted cherries and made from scratch crust.MMMMMMMmmmmm!! YUMMY!!

I did not go fishing with all the guys that one morning where Chris got that big fish because it was stream fishing. I found out that I am like my Grandma Bobby when it comes to fishing, siting with my pole in a lake over the side of the boat or with a bobber Winking smile! When we were in Branson just a few days after Ohio, Dad taught me how to fly fish!! I love it! now we have to go shopping for a fly fishing rod! MMWWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!  This is my first time fly fishing!!
